SCAN-IR is a concept for a multimodal body-scanning cabin integrated into the shower environment. We are looking for an industrial or technology partner able to turn the conceptual architecture into an instrumented, testable and scalable prototype.
The objective is to fuse several sensing modalities in a short acquisition performed before water starts flowing, creating a body digital twin that can be compared over time.
20 IR / ToF sensors arranged in four columns of five for geometry, distances, volumes and morphological change.
3 high-resolution RGB cameras for 3D reconstruction and comparative observation of the skin surface.
2 thermal cameras and 2 mmWave radars for thermal mapping, posture, movement and respiratory micro-movements.
Weight and load-distribution platform, with a possible evolution toward hand/foot bioimpedance contacts.
Alignment of sensing modalities, 3D model construction, session-to-session comparison and change detection.
A separate research module to explore deeper imaging. It would complement surface sensors and would not replace medical examination.
The first phase should demonstrate technical feasibility, sensor synchronization and coherent data reconstruction.
Test cabin or frame allowing reproducible sensor positioning.
Common control of sensors, cameras, radar and floor measurements.
Software pipeline for calibration, registration, photogrammetry and 3D digital-twin generation.
Repeatability, accuracy, safety and ergonomics testing, preparing an industrializable V2.
Indicative budget for a proof of concept. Final references will depend on partner choices and required accuracy.

Design estimate excluding engineering, software development, certification, testing and any ultrasound module.
We are looking for a company or R&D team able to lead all or part of the development.
ToF, multi-camera calibration, photogrammetry and 3D reconstruction.
Sensor integration, synchronization, acquisition and wet-environment constraints.
Multimodal fusion, longitudinal comparison and digital-twin construction.
Mechanical design, electrical safety, waterproofing, ergonomics, testing and regulatory preparation.
The project is open to prototyping, co-development or industrialization partnerships. The first step is to define the prototype architecture, select components and establish a validation plan.
